Welcome to another edition of The Hurlston Hall Hub
As we head into May, the golfing season is in full swing at Hurlston Hall. It’s the perfect time to get more rounds in, take part in competitions, and enjoy the atmosphere around the club. This month, we’ve got an exciting line-up of competitions, social events, and club updates to keep you in the loop. Whether you’re joining us for a round of golf, browsing the latest in the Golf Shop, or relaxing with friends over great food and drink in the Scullery Bar & Restaurant, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Welcome Trackman
We’re delighted to share that TrackMan technology will shortly be installed on our driving range!
This exciting addition will significantly enhance your practice experience, offering access to industry-leading ball tracking and performance data. TrackMan provides accurate feedback on metrics such as ball speed, carry distance, launch angle, and more.
The system will also introduce a range of engaging practice modes and virtual golf experiences, allowing you to play some of the world’s most renowned courses including your very own Hurlston Hall.
Installation is already in full swing, and we will keep you updated on progress, including launch dates, operating times and guidance on how to make the most of the new system.
This investment reflects our ongoing commitment to reinvesting back into the golf club and continually improving the overall member experience. Thank you for your patience whilst the work is carried out and we hope you enjoy the new addition.

Events at The View
80's Day Disco — Get Ready to Dance! 16th May 2026, 3:00pm - 8:00pm
Dust off your leg warmers and get ready to rewind to the ultimate decade — our 80’s Day Disco is coming to the club!
Enjoy a drink on arrival before hitting our interactive LED dance floor, surrounded by immersive LED screens and a full virtual show experience that will bring the party to life. Bar snacks will be available to keep you fuelled while you dance the night away.

Membership Renewals
Members due to renew on 1st June should have received their renewal notice via email.
If you would like to make any changes to your membership — such as updating your category or amending your payment method — please contact Chris Walton before Monday 25th May.

As always, when visiting another club through our reciprocal arrangements, please remember that you are representing Hurlston Hall. We encourage all members to uphold the values and standards of our club by showing courtesy, respect, and excellent etiquette both on and off the course.
Course Updates
GOLF COURSE ATTIRE
As the season gets busier, we’d like to highlight the importance of maintaining the club’s dress standards on the course. Appropriate attire includes recognised golf wear such as collared shirts, tailored shorts or trousers, and golf shoes. For clarity, items such as denim, gym or training wear, cargo shorts, football shirts, and overly casual clothing are not suitable for the course.
We appreciate your support in upholding these standards and ask that members also ensure their guests are dressed accordingly.

Our comprehensive irrigation upgrade is now complete.

Member News & Updates
We would like to remind all members and visitors that the Club operates on trust and mutual respect. Any form of theft from the clubhouse, golf course, or any on-site facilities will not be tolerated. Incidents of this nature will be taken very seriously and dealt with appropriately in line with Club policies, which may result in disciplinary action. We appreciate everyone’s support in helping maintain a safe and respectful environment for all.
A friendly reminder to all members and their guests that the reserved parking spaces designated for the Captain, Club Committee Members, and Lancashire Golf must not be used.
Please ensure these spaces remain available for their intended users at all times.
Congratulations to Jeanette Rothwell on winning the Laurel Trophy, an event where all captains past and present play, Jeanette won with 38 points.
Also special mention to Peter Cummins for his Hole-in-One achievement on Saturday 11th April on the 2nd. Well done Peter! 🏆⛳
On-Course Booking & Start Procedures
All golfers should ensure they have a valid tee time booked prior to play and check in with the Golf Shop team upon arrival. This allows us to manage the tee sheet effectively and keep everyone informed of any updates before heading out.
All play should commence from the 1st tee unless communicated by the club and no earlier than 7:04am.
If your plans change and you’re unable to make your booking, we ask that you release your tee time at the earliest opportunity. This ensures fellow members have the chance to make use of available slots. Lead bookers also have the option to transfer bookings within their group if they can't play.
Club Defibrillator Locations
We have 4 defibrillators across the site at Hurlston Hall. This is to protect our staff, members and customers should we ever need it. We advise all members to familiarise themselves with each location.
