Golf Course Updates

Course Manager's Blog
Our Course Manager has provided a comprehensive update on course conditions and ongoing improvement works. Here are the key highlights:
Winter Greens Performance
Greens are performing exceptionally well this winter thanks to improved agronomic practices and our new nutrition program. Members are enjoying most play on main greens rather than the temporary greens that were frequently used last winter.
Frost Delays Explained Temporary greens are used during frost conditions to prevent root shear damage and pitch mark issues. Playing on frozen or thawing greens causes significant damage that would weaken surfaces through spring and affect the upcoming season. This protection now means better playing surfaces later.
Major Infrastructure Improvements Significant work is underway including:
Bunker renovations with new drainage (holes 1, 16, and 18)
Irrigation system upgrades for automated watering
Ongoing drainage improvements across multiple holes
Bridge safety improvements (grip cladding on holes 6 and 9)
Temporary Disruptions Expected
Irrigation rewiring work will require some hole closures and temporary greens over the coming weeks. We appreciate your patience as we make these important improvements.
Member Cooperation Appreciated Please continue using winter mats, staying out of roped areas, and repairing all pitch marks. Your cooperation is protecting the course condition for the season ahead.
Read the Full Course Manager's Blog Here for detailed information on all improvement works, agronomic practices, and the reasoning behind course management decisions.
Winter Guidelines & Reminders
Winter Mats - Compulsory Use
Winter mats are compulsory in the general area of the course and all players must have their own mat.
General area includes: All parts of the course EXCEPT teeing areas, putting greens, bunkers, and penalty areas
Important Winter Rules:
Winter mats may be used on the teeing area
Check the daily course update each morning
You must not use your putter when your ball is on a mat (Rule E-12)
All bunkers are currently G.U.R. (Ground Under Repair) - please avoid them
Buggy & Trolley Status
Please check the daily course status updates for current information on buggy and trolley usage.
Pitch marks - Please Repair!
Greens are especially vulnerable during winter. While the greenkeeping team repairs pitch marks during course setup, damaged turf will not recover for an extended period. Please repair your pitch marks to protect your course.
Roped-Off Areas
Thank you for staying out of roped-off areas with trolleys and personal buggies. The course is holding up well because of your cooperation.
