Nothing was too much trouble and the staff are a credit to Hurlston Hall. My family were very impressed with the quality of the food and how well they were looked after. They’re already looking forward to returning to The Scullery."

Golf Course Updates

GOLF COURSE ATTIRE

As we head into the new season, we would like to remind all members of the standards of dress expected on the golf course.

Maintaining a smart and appropriate appearance is an important part of the club and helps ensure an enjoyable environment for all members and guests. Acceptable golf attire includes recognised golfing clothing such as collared shirts, tailored trousers or shorts, and golf shoes.

The following items are not considered appropriate on the course: denim, gym wear, cargo shorts, football shirts, or clothing deemed excessively casual.

CHECK OUT THE LATEST BLOG FROM THE COURSE MANAGER Please take a few minutes to read the latest Course Manager's Blog Here for detailed insights into on-course work. Ahead of the full course update, here are the key highlights for you to be aware of:

  • Bunker project progressing well – 12 greenside bunkers reopening this weekend, with the remainder on track for completion by mid-April

  • New bunker sand introduced to significantly improve playability, alongside updated “Aussie-style” raking for better consistency

  • Irrigation upgrade nearing completion – new system installation and testing underway, enhancing greens and tee watering capabilities

  • Course renovations scheduled from 30th March – essential works on greens, tees, and surrounds to prepare for the season

Tee Time & Check-In Etiquette

To help ensure the smooth running of the course and a fair experience for all members, please follow the guidelines below:

All players must have a booked tee time before playing. Please check in with the Golf Shop team before heading to the first tee. Play must begin from the 1st tee.

If you are unable to attend your booking, please cancel your tee time as early as possible so another member has the opportunity to play. If you are the lead booker (you made the booking) you can transfer the tee-time to another member in the party.

Please note: Players found playing from the back 9 during the morning will be asked to return to the 1st tee.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping keep play fair and enjoyable for everyone.
