Jack's Training Tip - Master technique before you chase numbers

Anyone can follow a workout, but a Coach helps you train with purpose. Coaching isn't just about telling you what to do - it's about teaching you how to lift smarter, move better and progress safely toward real, lasting strength.

Ready to stop guessing and start training with purpose?

Follow the link below to start working with me and learn what real coaching is about.

Class Spotlight

This month our class spotlight is on Pilates.

Strengthen from the inside out and reset your body this January. Pilates focuses on core strength, posture, flexibility, and controlled movement, helping you feel stronger, more balanced, and more mobile in everyday life. Suitable for all fitness levels, it’s the perfect way to build a solid foundation and move with confidence.

Please check the Members Portal for class times and bookings, or speak to a member of the team at Reception for more information.

Team Talk

Get to know the people who make Hurlston Hall extraordinary - one team member at a time. This month we will be speaking Bex...

What is your fitness specialty?

I specialise in women's health & fitness over 30. I'm also a qualified nutrition coach, so I combine strength training and nutrition coaching to help women feel stronger, healthier and more confident.

What's one piece of advice you give every client?

Consistency always beats perfection. We focus on one or two small changes at a time and allow these little wins to build up to big results.

Favourite exercise (and why)?

Deadlifts. They make me feel strong and powerful.

Least favourite exercise?

Bulgarian Split Squats...effective, but hideous!

What motivates you as a coach?

Seeing clients achieve things they never thought possible, whether it's lifting heavier, moving better, or simply feeling more at home in the gym.

What's your top tip for members this month?

Always have a plan. Follow a structured programme in the gym and plan your week of meals in advance - using this to write your shopping list. A little preparation goes a long way toward progress.

How can members book a session with you?

To book a complimentary session with me, please follow the link below, get in touch and we can discuss exactly how I can help you. Alternatively you can email me at bex_pt@yahoo.com

The Last Word...

I look forward to seeing many of you around the club and sharing a fantastic year together!
