Book in for your May treatment of the month - ELEMIS PRO COLLAGEN TOUCH FACIAL, designed to soothe and refresh you.

Treatment of the Month


Spa Manager, Joy, shares this month’s featured treatment:


“This month, we are highlighting our Pro Collagen Touch Facial. This luxurious, hands-on facial is designed to target fine lines and restore a youthful and radient glow using clinacally proven marine and plant actives. Combining deeply relaxing massage techniqueswith powerful anti-ageing ingredients, this treatment improves skin firmness and hydration, and leaves your complexion smoother, plumper and beautifully revitalised".

Hurlston Hall Leisure is an extremely social club and we are proud of our community feel. Our club isn’t just about exercise and treatments; it’s also a place to connect with others. The seating area offers space to read the newspaper, enjoy a hot drink or protein shake, and meet other members. Many members find that chatting with others who share similar health goals creates a supportive community that makes coming to the club enjoyable.


Try these ideas to make the most of your social time here:

  • Bring a spare flask to ensure you can enjoy a hot drink

Ena Is Back!


We are excited to welcome back Ena as the Group Exercise Coordinator. With 70 group exercise classes per week there is something for everybody and at all times of the day from early morning to evening.


Whilst the timetable can seem pretty full and over prescribed, there are still a lot of classes which are not full and are easier to book onto than prime time classes. Look out for these and hopefully the time and day works for you to attend.


No Show Policy:

If you book a class, it is important to cancel your booking if you know you cannot attend the class. With over 400 No Shows per month recorded please think about other members who could have gone to the class if you would have cancelled.


  • 3 recorded No Show classes in a calendar month and you will receive a yellow card to bring it to your attention.

  • Another 3 recordings in a calendar month and you will be given a red card and your booking privileges suspended for two weeks.


Taking this into account, ensure you are checked in with the staff at reception and please be patient with them during busy periods. Arrive for your class in good time to allow for this.



Meet Your Personal Trainers and Boost Your Fitness Levels


During your 12 month membership, our personal trainers play an important part in your fitness progress and are here to support you every step of the way. Whether you are a new member with us maybe just starting out with new fitness goals, or if you believe you are a seasoned pro, booking a session with one of our trainers can provide tailored guidance and motivation. They will help you set realistic goals, design workouts that fit your lifestyle, and track your progress.


Here are some ways the personal trainers can help you:


  • Create customised workout plans based on your fitness level and goals

  • Teach proper exercise techniques to prevent injury

  • Offer nutritional advice to complement your training

  • Provide accountability and encouragement to keep you motivated

  • They can introduce you to Myzone, and Boditrax.


If you haven’t met with a trainer yet, see the notice board in the Gym and grab one of their business cards. Remember, you have a complimentary session available with your membership. For this, ask the team at Reception about it and they will help you contact the trainers.


Fitness Advice from Our Personal Trainer


This month, personal trainer Trevor shares a simple message:


“Train the way you play! Many of my clients train with a specific goal in mind: being match fit. With Padels massive rise in popularity, I am now offering sport specific sessions tailored to the agility and power of the games demands. Grab my card to book a trial session".

If you play a sport, think about the movements you do whilst playing and mimic them in the gym. Grab one of the personal trainers cards and see how they can help you with your game.



Equipment Maintenance and Upgrades


We know how frustrating it can be when gym machines are out of order. That’s why we are committed to keeping all equipment in top shape. As we report faults with our partners, we are then in their hands to provide any necessary parts and to schedule engineers in to repair. We do thank you for your patience and understanding for this.


This month, we are focusing on:


  • Having the lift operational

  • Replacing upholstery on the gym machines for comfort and hygiene

  • Upgrading cables on the Freemotion Trainer to improve performance and safety

  • Purchasing a spare steam room bottle so we have one ready to use when needed

  • Making good the walls from the changing rooms to poolside


These improvements are sure to assist your improved experience on your visits.
