Scorecard Rules
1. OUT OF BOUNDS (Rule 18.2)
Beyond the boundary of the course as defined by white stakes.
Beyond the inside edge of the white stakes behind the 18th green and the 1st and 10th tees.
Over the boundary wall on the left of the 14th hole.
15th. Beyond the ditch on the left boundary of the course.
On the 17th, the road between the main bridge and the next path on left near 18th tee.
2. PENALTY AREAS (Rule 17)
All penalty areas are marked with red stakes.
To avoid delaying play, for a ball that may be in a penalty area, a provisional ball may be played. (see model local rule B-3)
STAKES (Model Local Rule F-18)
All stakes on the course are moveable obstructions.
IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS (Rule 16.1)
a Staked trees, fences protecting plantations, manhole covers, signs, seats, litter bins, tee markers, distance markers on fairways, sprinkler heads, bells, wooden steps into bunkers and electricity poles.
b) All roads and paths - excluding bridges - surfaced with stones, artificial turf or wood chips.
The pump house and surrounding hedge on the 17th hole.
Sprinkler heads within 2 club lengths of the green and interfering with line of putt: relief may be taken. (see model local rule F-5)
BRIDGES (Rule 8.1a)
All water crossings are deemed to be bridges. All parts of bridges within the margins of penalty areas are integral objects. A ball lying on a bridge between the margins should be played 'as it lies' or dropped under penalty. The stone bridge on LHS of 9th as you approach the green is GUR. Normail relief rules apply (Rule 16).
ABNORMAL COURSE CONDITIONS (Rule 16.1)
If a ball is lying in Ground Under Repair, or if such an area interferes with a player's stance or swing, relief may be taken without penalty.
Deep ruts from green keepers' vehicles are considered an abnormal course condition.
Local Rule 16-1c
If a player’s ball is in a bunker and there is interference by bunker lining , the player may take either free relief under (1) or penalty relief under (2):
(1) Free Relief: Playing from Bunker. The player may take free relief under Rule 16.1b, except that:
• The nearest point of complete relief and the relief area must be in the bunker, complete relief within 1 club length no nearer the hole
• If there is no such nearest point of complete relief in the bunker, the player may still take this relief by using the point of maximum available relief in the bunker as the reference point, taking normal bunker relief penalties
NO PLAY ZONES (Rule 2.4)
Environmentally sensitive areas marked with posts and barked flower beds on side of tee areas 2,3,6,7 and 8. Free relief.

MEDICAL EMERGENCIES - We have four defibrillators on site and they are located on the Golf Course (Pump House on 17th Hole), in The Scullery Restaurant, in the Gym and on the Caravan Park.
