Hole One

High Hopes
Tough opening hole - avoiding bunkers left and right off the tee a must! An iron approach to the middle right of the green, go too far left and you’re in the brook.

Hole Two

The Wallet
Tricky hole over a water hazard to a difficult green. Always hit one more club than you think as hole always plays longer than the yardage.

Hole Three

Jim's Billabong
Short par 4, so driver not essential off the tee. Another 2nd shot that plays over water and longer than the yardage to a difficult green that has run offs on all sides. A par 4 is a good score here.

Hole Four

Boggart's Hole
A tee shot over the yellow post tight to the big tree on the left should put you in the middle of the fairway that dog legs left, followed by an approach shot slightly downhill. Better to be short than long here.

Hole Five

Lightning Creek
A tough driving hole with the ditch snaking down the right side. Good course management needed as playing left will leave a longer approach to a tricky green. A well earned par 4 is a great score here.

Hole Six

The Hiding Hole
Generally the easiest of the four par 5’s on the course. The longer hitters need to be mindful off the tee with the ditch running across the fairway. Keep approach shot to the left as everything runs to bunkers on the right.

The Rockies
Blind tee shot down the hill... If you’re laying up short of the pond for 2, a driver not necessary off the tee. Be mindful of the brook left hand side of the green on approach shot.

Hole Nine

Cromwells's Table
Dog leg left, generous fairway to a wide but shallow green over the brook. Club selection has to be spot on as bunkers await an over hit approach shot, while not enough club and you’re in the brook.

Hole Ten

Hallowed Ground
A very tough start to the back nine. Drive needs to be just left of the fairway bunker to give you a good view of the green. Keep second shot left of the green, approaches lost to the right will leave a very tricky pitch over the bunker.

Bane of Hurlston
Easiest hole on the course. No fairway bunkers and generous fairway. The rough on the right can get long in the summer months but flat green and good par chance for most.
